The Book entitled "Thematic Exegesis of the Holy Qur’an: Between Theory and Application" explores one of the most prominent contemporary approaches to engaging with the Qur’anic text. This method offers a comprehensive understanding of various issues by collecting related verses, analyzing them in context, and linking them to Qur’anic objectives and present-day realities. Its significance lies in its contribution to renewing religious discourse and connecting divine revelation to modern life’s evolving needs. The book aims to define the core concepts of thematic interpretation, outline its foundations and areas of application, and clarify its relationship with other exegetical approaches. It emphasizes the method’s role in constructing a purposive understanding of Qur’anic texts and highlights its intellectual and social relevance. A historical overview is provided, detailing the development, trends, and unique features of thematic interpretation that distinguish it from other methods. In addition to theoretical grounding, the work presents applied examples on theological topics such as resurrection and prophetic infallibility, and social themes like the prohibition of alcohol and family building. These case studies combine linguistic analysis with an objective-based reading, maintaining thematic coherence throughout. Structured into an introduction and five chapters, the book begins with conceptual definitions and a review of interpretive methodologies. It then discusses the principles and classifications of thematic Tafsir, research approaches, and finally, practical applications in theological and social domains. This work serves as both an academic and practical reference, showcasing the potential of thematic interpretation to align Qur’anic guidance with contemporary thought and behavior.
