Author Guidelines

All submissions will be assessed by the College of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research to determine whether they are in line with the University polices and procedures, and will be then sent for external review.

When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission file is in Word format as per latest Book Publication Application Form available on the website of the Dept. of Publications at the College of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research (CGSSR).
  • The Book Publication Application Form has been signed by the Authors, the Head of the Academic Dept. at the College, the Head of the College Scientific Research Committee and the Dean of the College.

Books

Section default policy

This section receives faculty book publication requests (textbooks, reference, enrichment; prescribed course books when approved).
Submission requirements: signed & stamped support form; manuscript in Word/PDF; AR/EN abstracts with keywords; author data (standardized EN names, affiliation, AU email, ORCID if available). For prescribed textbooks: attach the approved, College-sealed course syllabus (clear PDF).
Peer review: confidential external review via OJS using the “Authored Book Review Form.” All correspondence occurs in-platform, with reviewer anonymity preserved and conflicts of interest observed.
Note: This section does not accept research articles; it is restricted to AUQ faculty books

Copyright Statement

  • I warrant that the submission is original, unpublished, and not under concurrent consideration, and that written permissions for third-party content have been secured.
  • I agree to similarity checks and AUQ integrity policies.
  • Upon acceptance, I will sign a publishing agreement with AUQ; copyright assignment or licensing will proceed as per that agreement, enabling print/digital publication, cataloging, and DOI/ISBN registration.
  • I consent to the use of bibliographic data, abstracts, and limited previews for discovery and indexing.

The names and email addresses entered in this AQU Publication Review system will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this system and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
